Gaurav Khanna to play a lead in Sony TV's Byah Hamari Bahu Ka!!

Gaurav Khanna last seen in 2011 hosting the third season of the dance show Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan will be seen as a main lead in Jd Majethia's new upcoming show for Sony TV 'Byah Hamari Bhau Ka'. The production house had considered many male leads like Aditya Redij, Karan Wahi and Vishal Karwal. However Gaurav has been finalized to play the male lead in the show.

About- Rashmi Desai Sandhu !!

Rashmi Desai well know as Tappu was born in Nagaon, Assam, India on 4th of August 1986. Rashmi changed her name from Divya Desai to Rashmi Desai. Rashmi is also a trained Kathak and Bharatnatyam dancer and has acted in Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Manipuri and Bhojpuri movies. She started her career at a very early age got her first break in Ravan on Zee TV followed by Meet Mila De Rabba on Sony TV and Uttaran on Colors. Rashmi has worked in few other serials including B.R. Films' Pari Hoon Main (as Pari and Nikki, double role). She has also done episodes for Ssshhh...Phir Koi Hai. She has done reality shows like Comedy Circus, Maha Sangram, Zara Nachke Dikha, Crime Patrol, Big Money, Kitchen Champion season 2. Rashami is best known for playing the role of Tapasya (Tapu) in the popular television soap opera, Uttaran.
Rashmi Desai is married to Nandish Sandhu aka Veer, they got married on 9 February 2011 while doing the Colors’ show Uttaran (FilmFarm Productions).

25th December 1984 born Actor Jay Bhanushali  likes listening to music, playing cricket and socialising and he is a devotee of Lord Ganesha.
It was his sister Hetal Bhanushali who told him to try his luck in modeling.  In the initial stages he had his own reservations to embark the entertainment world. However he decided to try his luck. Initially he failed to make a mark and did not manage to bag commercials. But gradually things started out rolling for the actor. He featured in commercials like Motorola, Pepsi, Lays and Rediffmail.com etc, however he was first noticed on Disney India's show Dhoom Machaao Dhoom, then landed his first serial Kayamath with Star Plus,which earned him instant fame and recognition. The character 'Neev' was like a mirror reflection of Jay and he related with him absolutely. Jay's awesome screen presence, cute smile & his style made him instant hit. Jay did second season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as one of the contestants with Bindi Khare as his choreographer. Jay was among the top 3 finalists and was announced as the second runner-up. Jay had also participated in three more reality shows called Kaun Jeetenga Bollywood Ka Ticket on 9X, Tyohaar Dhamaka on 9X and Iss Jungle se mujhe bachao where he entered as wild card entry with Mika Singh and Chitrashi. He also featured in Indian Idol contestant Prajakta Shukre's music video called Ithun Dhakka. Jay hosted the dancing reality show Dance India Dance season 2 & 3 on Zee TV, he is currently seen on Colors Show Kairi- Rishta Khatta Meetha!!

There is fantastic news for all small screen fans as the leading duo of 'Bade Acche Laggte Hai' Ram Kapoor and Saakshi Tanwar, have been awarded the most prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Awards for their contribution to Indian small screen. The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is India's highest award in cinema given annually by the Government of India for lifetime contribution to Indian cinema and the recipients are the most deserving pupils from the Industry.
Ram Kapoor and Saakshi Tanwar both are very popular and the best actor and best actress on Indian Television respectively.

Chandragupta Maurya will be back, but not with Ashish Sharma in the lead!!

Imagine TV's Chandragupta Maurya went off-air abruptly due to the sudden closure of Imagine TV and now as it seems the Show is soon going to be back on Sony Entertainment Television, however the lead actor Ashish Sharma will not be seen as Chandragupta Maurya as he has quitted the show as he is busy setting his company Smoking Carrots Fillum Compani.

Chandragupta Maurya may be back!!

Imagine TV's historical drama Chandragupta Maurya went off-air abruptly due to the sudden closure of Imagine TV and now it seems Chandragupta Maurya is soon going to be back on TV may be on Sony Entertainment Television.

The Makers of the Show, Sagar Arts and 72 Degree North have been making efforts to get the series back on TV and approached Zee TV, Sony and Life OK. Ultimately, Sony has agreed to air the show all over again.

So lets wait for the Show to come back on TV again!!

Bade Acche Laggte Hai to take a leap soon!!!

Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms Show Bade Acche Laggte Hai had managed to top the TRP charts, However, in the recent times it has seen a downfall in the TRPs, So to make it more interesting, the show is planning a 4-5 years leap. As tension has started brewing between Ram and Priya's relationship, it will lead to separation.
Well, lets just hope that this might prove to be a high point for the show and its rating.

Aamir Khan's small screen debut in Satyamev Jayate!!

 

Superstar Aamir Khan, who is all set to make his TV debut with his Most Ambitious Project 'Satyamev Jayate' who is completely been focusing on the serial, he points out that his main purpose is to be able to connect with the common people through this serial and the TRP game hardly matters to him.
The show is scheduled to telecast on Sundays at 11 am from the 6th of May.

Satyamev Jayate is the first show ever in the history of Indian Television to be aired simultaneously on a private channel Star Plus and a national broadcaster Doordarshan. The show is also dubbed in several languages including four Indian southern languages Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada along with Marathi. Apart from Star Plus, the show will also have simulcast on STAR Pravah, STAR Jalsha, STAR Utsav, Asianet and STAR Vijay within the STAR Network.

Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak? produced by Tony and Deeya Singh of DJ’s a Creative Unit is an Indian family drama that aired on 18 October 2010 on STAR Plus. The show was due to end on 25 January 2012, and be replaced by Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein on the 11:00 p.m. slot However, this decision was changed later, with Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein replacing Navya on the 10:00 p.m. slot instead. Navya, in turn, moved to the 6:00 p.m. slot.
The show got an extension of six months in January but the makers have finally decided to bring an end to the show rather than stretching it any further.

Jennifer Winget to play the female lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ambitious project on Star Plus!!

Jennifer Winget first landed a lead role in "Koi Dil Main Hai" from Balaji Telefilms when she was seventeen years old. Her first break was in the popular soap Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Sneha for which she is still remembered today. She also played the character of Dr. Riddhima Modi, in Dill Mill Gayye & also Karthika, she also did minor roles in Kkusum, Kahiin To Hoga, Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa. She starred as a child artist in the show Shaka Laka Boom Boom.

Jennifer Winget would be playing the female lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's show which is all set to hit the floors and some of the names who have been signed are Chetan Pandit, Monica Bedi, Ragini Shah and Yatin Karyekar.

Saurabh Raj Jain aka Anand of Colors "Parichay" who has also played different characters in shows like Remix, Jai Shree Krishna is back as Yuvraj, in FilmFarm Productions’ Uttaran.

However Saurabh was not been the first choice to play Yuvraj. The production house earlier approached Yashdeep Nain to play the role But he got dropped as he signed another show at the same time Spellbound’s Pyaar Ki Naukri.

After completing her studies, she moved to Mumbai to make a career in acting.
