Aamir Khan's small screen debut in Satyamev Jayate!!

 

Superstar Aamir Khan, who is all set to make his TV debut with his Most Ambitious Project 'Satyamev Jayate' who is completely been focusing on the serial, he points out that his main purpose is to be able to connect with the common people through this serial and the TRP game hardly matters to him.
The show is scheduled to telecast on Sundays at 11 am from the 6th of May.

Satyamev Jayate is the first show ever in the history of Indian Television to be aired simultaneously on a private channel Star Plus and a national broadcaster Doordarshan. The show is also dubbed in several languages including four Indian southern languages Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada along with Marathi. Apart from Star Plus, the show will also have simulcast on STAR Pravah, STAR Jalsha, STAR Utsav, Asianet and STAR Vijay within the STAR Network.

Maryada… Lekin Kab Tak? to bid adieu!

Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak? produced by Tony and Deeya Singh of DJ’s a Creative Unit is an Indian family drama that aired on 18 October 2010 on STAR Plus. The show was due to end on 25 January 2012, and be replaced by Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein on the 11:00 p.m. slot However, this decision was changed later, with Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein replacing Navya on the 10:00 p.m. slot instead. Navya, in turn, moved to the 6:00 p.m. slot.
The show got an extension of six months in January but the makers have finally decided to bring an end to the show rather than stretching it any further.

Nisha Rawal, Karan Mehra’s (Naitik of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai) girlfriend will be seen in Shashi-Sumeet Mittal’s Main Laxmi Tere Aangan Ki on Life OK who would essay the role of Soumya, who is the ex girlfriend of Arjun.

So Nisha's entry would bring some Drama in the story.

Usha Nadkarni to play a Narrator in Kairi-Rishta Khatta Meetha!!

The veteran actress Usha Nadkarni aka Savita of Pavitra Rishta would be seen in Colors show Kairi-Rishta Khatta Meetha a story that revolves around Imarti Devi and her daughter-in-law Ambi who are very opposite characters, in a special episode that will be aired every Saturday speaking about the ongoing track & concluding whole week’s episode.

With the launch of Sagar Arts and Nilanjana 72 Degree North’s latest show Aasman Se Aage, which will air from 23 April 2012 B P Singh’s (Fireworks) Hum Ne Li Hai Shapath on Life OK which airs seven days a week might be reduced to five days & become a bi-weekly from a daily for one and a half hour every Saturday and Sunday. !!

Jennifer Winget to play the female lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ambitious project on Star Plus!!

Jennifer Winget first landed a lead role in "Koi Dil Main Hai" from Balaji Telefilms when she was seventeen years old. Her first break was in the popular soap Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Sneha for which she is still remembered today. She also played the character of Dr. Riddhima Modi, in Dill Mill Gayye & also Karthika, she also did minor roles in Kkusum, Kahiin To Hoga, Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa. She starred as a child artist in the show Shaka Laka Boom Boom.

Jennifer Winget would be playing the female lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's show which is all set to hit the floors and some of the names who have been signed are Chetan Pandit, Monica Bedi, Ragini Shah and Yatin Karyekar.

Saurabh Raj Jain aka Anand of Colors "Parichay" who has also played different characters in shows like Remix, Jai Shree Krishna is back as Yuvraj, in FilmFarm Productions’ Uttaran.

However Saurabh was not been the first choice to play Yuvraj. The production house earlier approached Yashdeep Nain to play the role But he got dropped as he signed another show at the same time Spellbound’s Pyaar Ki Naukri.
